I wasn't trying to bash you in a bad way. And I don't have to direct others to posts of days gone by to prove a point. And sure, if someone learns how the code works they can make their own code from the base code (as you said, doing it from scratch would be fruitless) because thats how tuning works. And doing so (making your own performance chip) would require lots of dyno time to perfect an accurate chip which could be sold to the general public as a plug and play device.
